Michael O'Hara is an Assistant Professor at St. Lawrence University, where he teaches introduction to economics, environmental economics, and econometrics. His research interest is in applying parametric and nonparametric econometric techniques to environmental and resource issues. Current research projects examine the carbon efficiency of colleges and universities, the interaction between markets for fossil fuels and renewable energy, and the effects of wind turbines on housing markets.
