Professor for Methods of Comparative Political Research

Ingo Rohlfing is a professor for Methods of Comparative Political Research at the Cologne Center for Comparative Politics at the University of Cologne. He is doing research on social science methods and interested in meta research. He is working on assessments of how research is done as well as its credibility and transparency. This is complemented by the development of strategies and tools for improving credibility and introducing these tools to graduate students. His work has appeared in Sociological Methods & Research, Comparative Political Studies, Party Politics, and Political Analysis. He has also written the monograph Case Studies and Causal Inference (Palgrave Macmillan, 2012).
